Bringing Lifecycle Marketing to a Booking-First Business

ORA Method is a growing service-based wellness brand built around bookings and completed appointments rather than a traditional e-commerce checkout flow. Where most Dispatch partners run on Shopify, ORA Method runs on Zenoti, a booking and scheduling platform built for spas, salons, and service-based businesses, which meant revenue, list growth, and customer behavior all needed to be understood in terms of bookings and completed services rather than orders and carts. Dispatch has partnered with ORA Method for more than a year to bring the same level of lifecycle strategy and execution to a booking-first business that we've delivered for our e-commerce clients. While Zenoti and Klaviyo do offer a native integration, it wasn't built to capture everything ORA Method needed to run true lifecycle marketing, so the partnership began with building out custom metrics on top of that native connection to track the additional booking and service data points the team wanted to leverage in flows. From there, the team stood up automated messaging around the two moments that matter most in the ORA Method customer journey: the initial booking and the completed service. Klaviyo and Zenoti were the primary platforms used throughout the engagement.

Where We Started

The initial audit surfaced a challenge that most email agencies never have to solve. Klaviyo and Zenoti do offer a native integration, but out of the box it wasn't built to capture the full picture of a customer's booking and service activity, which meant there was no reliable way to track booked order revenue, attribute flow and campaign performance to actual bookings, or trigger messaging off of the specific booking and service events that actually mattered for ORA Method's business. Meanwhile, Zenoti's own native follow-up capabilities were limited, leaving ORA Method without a real way to automatically nurture someone after they booked or after they were serviced. This left significant revenue on the table at exactly the moments when a customer's intent was highest: right after they committed to an appointment, and right after they experienced the service.

The key objectives identified were to build out custom metrics on top of the native Zenoti-Klaviyo integration that could reliably capture the booking and service data points that mattered most, establish accurate tracking and attribution for booked order revenue so performance could actually be measured, design automated flows that mirrored ORA Method's real customer journey around booking and service completion, and prove that this new infrastructure could drive meaningful incremental revenue on top of ongoing list growth efforts.

Building the Infrastructure First

Before a single flow could be built, Dispatch had to solve the data problem. Starting from the native integration between Zenoti and Klaviyo, the team layered in new custom metrics built around the additional booking and service data points ORA Method needed to leverage inside flows, data that the native connection alone wasn't capturing. This meant defining what a "booked order" looked like inside Klaviyo, mapping the specific Zenoti booking and appointment activity into events Klaviyo could act on, and ensuring revenue could be attributed back to email and SMS with the same accuracy Dispatch delivers for its Shopify partners. This infrastructure work had no direct revenue line of its own, but it made every flow, every segment, and every dollar of attributed revenue that followed possible.

Flows That Mirror the Real Customer Journey

With the integration in place, Dispatch built automated messaging around the two highest-intent moments in ORA Method's customer journey. The Post-Booking Flow triggers immediately after someone makes their initial booking, reinforcing their decision, setting expectations, and reducing no-shows and cancellations before the appointment happens. The Post-Service Flow triggers once a customer's service is complete, an opportunity Zenoti's native tools weren't built to fully capture, and is used to drive reviews, repeat bookings, and continued engagement with the brand while the experience is still top of mind.

Together, these two flows became the highest-leverage automations in the account. Between them, they generated over $54,000 in flow revenue and reached nearly 22,000 recipients, filling a gap that existed purely because Zenoti's own follow-up capabilities stopped short of what a dedicated lifecycle strategy could deliver.

The Flows Themselves Are Driving the Lift

List growth remains an ongoing priority for the partnership, and Dispatch continues to test and optimize ORA Method's list growth strategy alongside its flows. What stands out in the results is that booked order revenue grew at a rate far beyond what list growth alone would explain. Attributed booked order revenue grew 53% and flow booked order revenue grew 200% over the same period, growth rates that outpace normal list expansion on their own. That gap shows the lift is coming from the quality and relevance of the Post-Booking and Post-Service messaging itself, not simply from a larger audience receiving it, and it validates the broader thesis behind the integration work: once ORA Method's booking and service data could actually talk to Klaviyo, lifecycle marketing could do for a service business what it has always done for e-commerce brands.

Stop Leaving Revenue on the Table

Most brands are missing hundreds of thousands in lifecycle revenue because no one is owning these channels at a strategic level. Dispatch gives you a dedicated strategist and the full team needed to execute, test, and optimize without the overhead of hiring in-house.
